Delta Comfort+ Offered as a Fare On Four-Product Aircraft

As part of Delta’s overarching effort to deliver an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, Delta Comfort+ is now available as a fare on all 4-product aircraft (777-200ER and A330-900neo).

Existing Reservations Reaccommodated into W Class

On Saturday, March 16, 2019, Delta conducted a schedule change and as a result existing reservations for customers who have purchased Delta Comfort+ as an ancillary seat product on these routes, were reaccommodated in W class.  In most cases, the ticket was revalidated. If the ticket was not revalidated, the travel agency will need to reissue the ticket as an even exchange.

Due to this change, DC+ will no longer be available as a post purchase ancillary seat product on any 4-product aircraft that offers DC+ as a fare, in most GDSs.

Additional helpful information regarding the addition of Delta Comfort+ as a fare on 4-product aircraft is available in the Travel Agent FAQs below.

Timeline For Travel

On March 27, 2019, travel between Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP) and Haneda, Japan (HND) will be the first route to offer Delta Comfort+ as a fare. The remaining routes that offer the 4-product aircraft will offer Delta Comfort+ as a fare for travel on/after May 1.

Until May 1 DC+ will still be available for purchase as a seat product on all 777 and 339 routes listed for sale in the GDS except for the previously mentioned MSP-HND route.
