Los Angeles and All the Amazing Ways to Take Flight on Delta’s Flagship A350
Six Airbus A350-900 aircraft now grace the Delta fleet, which means soon there will be more chances than ever before to take flight on Delta’s Flagship international aircraft, featuring the Delta One® suite, Delta Premium Select and a main cabin experience that’s comfy, entertaining and offers ample overhead bin space.
Here’s how travelers can experience Delta’s A350 flagship from the City of Angels and several other amazing ways:
Los Angeles to Shanghai beginning July 2, 2018. Delta has served customers on this route since 2016 with Boeing 777 aircraft, and the countdown is on for LA’s newest aircraft option to and from China’s largest city and global financial center.
From the Motor City. Delta’s hub at the McNamara Terminal of Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW) is the center point for the most A350 options. And don’t fret if at first you think DTW isn’t exactly in your backyard – it’s Delta’s second largest hub by daily departures and has nonstop flights to more than 100 U.S. destinations. So build your itinerary with an enjoyable easy connection via DTW to fly the A350 any day of the week to four different Asia destinations (and back again!)
- Detroit to Tokyo-Narita, began October 30, 2017
- Detroit to Seoul-Incheon, began November 18, 2017
- Detroit – Beijing, began January 17, 2018
- Detroit to Shanghai, coming soon on April 19, 2018
The A350 will also fly from DTW to Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport (AMS), effective March 31, 2018. This is the first transatlantic destination for Delta’s A350 aircraft and will be available on one of four daily Delta flights between the two locations.
