Delta Advises Customers to Arrive Three Hours Ahead of Departure in San Jose and Liberia, Costa Rica
A general strike that started today in Costa Rica is expected to continue until the end of the week and may cause traffic delays reaching the San Jose (SJO) and Liberia (LIR) airports. Costa Rican authorities request that customers arrive at least three hours ahead of their scheduled departure time to avoid delays.
Delta ticket counters in SJO and LIR are open four hours ahead of scheduled departure times to allow customers more time to check-in.
The airline offers two daily non-stop flights from San Jose and Liberia to Atlanta as well as a daily flight from San Jose to Los Angeles.
