Delta and its partner, Virgin Atlantic, have scooped coveted spots on the ‘Airline of the Year’ shortlist for this year’s TTG Travel Awards.

Over the past year Delta has continued to invest in the customer experience, introducing new perks and amenities for customers flying to the United States. Product innovations include free mobile messaging, complimentary Prosecco in Main Cabin and RFID bag tracking, so customers can keep tabs on their checked bags. Meanwhile, Delta has introduced the A330 aircraft on routes from London Heathrow to Atlanta, New York-JFK and select flights to Detroit, offering an enhanced onboard experience in every cabin.

The TTG Travel Awards are widely regarded as one of the toughest in the industry. Finalists are selected according travel agents’ votes before winners are chosen by a panel of TTG journalists. The Airline of the Year winner will be announced at the awards event on September 17 in London.
