Delta Ramps Up Routes from European Hubs for Summer 2019

More flights, destinations and connecting options are on offer next summer for Delta customers flying to the U.S. from or via Amsterdam Schiphol, Paris-Charles de Gaulle and London Heathrow airports.

Tampa Bay

New Amsterdam – Tampa Bay flight

A new service to Tampa Bay, effective May 24, 2019, will be Delta’s second destination in the Sunshine State. Complementing Delta’s existing Orlando route, it will offer a convenient two-center holiday by combining the theme parks of Orlando with the attractions and coastal resorts in and around Tampa.

Meanwhile, Delta’s nonstop to Los Angeles will operate daily from Amsterdam, effective June 17, 2019, up from the current four flights per week.

Flights from Amsterdam and Paris CDG are operated in conjunction with joint venture partner, Air France-KLM.

Los Angeles

Daily from Paris to Los Angeles

Also effective 17 June, 2019, Delta’s Paris CDG – L.A. flight will increase from three weekly flights to daily. Flights are timed to complement the existing flights to Los Angeles operated by partner, Air France.

The award-winning Delta One Suites and all-new Delta Premium Select cabin, plus an enhanced Main Cabin will be available on the route next summer on board Delta’s refurbished Boeing 777-200.

Portland

Heathrow network boost

Delta’s popular seasonal flight from London Heathrow to Portland – one of America’s coolest destinations - will increase from four weekly flights to a daily service, effective May 24.

Meanwhile, a second daily flight to Detroit will increase connecting opportunities to over destinations across the United States and beyond, including Chicago, Cincinnati, Indianapolis and Orlando.

Delta’s U.K flights are operated in partnership with joint venture partner, Virgin Atlantic.
