Korean Air Passenger Service System Outage on March 27

On March 27 at 11:00 a.m. EST, Korean Air (KE) will have a planned Passenger Service System outage for approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes as part of the cutover to a new O&D Inventory System.

System outage detail:

·       The cutover is scheduled for March 27th at 11:00 a.m. EST (March 28th at 00:00 KST). KE will have a system outage for approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, from 11:00 EST to 14:15 EST (00:00 KST to 03:15 KST)

·       During the outage, sales of DL marketed/KE operated (DL*/KE) and KE prime itineraries will not be possible, therefore Delta is implementing a Prohibit Sales for all DL*/KE flights (both TPAC trunks and beyond ICN)

·       Some GDS/Agencies will continue to see cached availability and as a result will receive a denied sell during this short period, but the Prohibit Sale should help to limit rejections and impact to our customers

·       The Prohibit Sale will be removed at approximately 14:15 EST on March 27th (03:15 KST), after the system cutover is complete at which point we expect normal operations to begin
