Delta Wins Beat Readers' Choice Award – Again in 2016

Delta Personnel At Beat Award

For five years in a row, readers of business travel and distribution technology magazine The Beat have chosen Delta as their Most Admired Airline and Overall Most Admired Supplier in its Ninth Annual Beat Readers’ Choice Awards.

Given out during yesterday’s The Beat Live conference in Chicago, IL, the awards were based on a poll that asked readers to choose the company in each of the six supplier segments that they “most admire for its policies, management style and service for business clients.”

“This award says loud and clear that our customers trust Delta to consistently provide exceptional service and leadership across the industry,” said Bob Somers, S.V.P.—Global Sales, who accepted the “Supplier of the Year” award on Delta’s behalf. “Thank you to all the 80,000 worldwide employees – together we drive success, year in and year out, in every part of this business.”

Kristen Shovlin, V.P.—Sales Operations and Development, attended the awards ceremony as well and accepted the “Most Admired Airline” award on Delta’s behalf.

The Beat has over 10,000 subscribers consisting of senior-level travel executives in travel management companies, airlines, hotels, technology companies, expense and payment companies as well as corporate travel buyers, consultants, and industry analysts. It is in the same publication family as Business Travel News (BTN). Delta has won top honors in the BTN annual survey in the last five years and a sixth consecutive win is a 2016 Flight Plan goal.
