Policy Updates
Delta is extending its waiver to provide more flexibility for customers rebooking international tickets, following the U.S. government requirement for COVID-19 testing of all international arrivals beginning Jan. 26. Delta will waive the fare difference for customers rebooking an international ticket purchased on or before Jan. 12, if the ticket was originally scheduled through Feb. 16. Customers must rebook their travel to begin on or before Feb. 1.
Policy Updates
Effective on/after January 1, 2021, any tickets issued between March 28, 2020 and December 31, 2020 that were exempt from the U.S. Transportation Tax (US) and the Flight Segment Tax (ZP) that need to be reissued will be subject to collection of these taxes, if the ticket qualifies.

Effective Jan. 11, Delta will no longer accept emotional support animal bookings on any Delta flight. Customers traveling with trained service dogs will be required to fill out DOT documentation confirming the animal meets training and health qualifications.

Due to travel restrictions as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, customers who have visited the European Schengen Area, the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland during the past 14 days prior travel may not enter or transit the United States. Exceptions apply to U.S. citizen and other individuals who meet specified exceptions.

Delta has launched a COVID-19 testing programme on flights from Atlanta to Rome and, in partnership with KLM, from Atlanta to Amsterdam. The trials exempt eligible customers permitted to travel to Italy and the Netherlands from quarantine on arrival.
