Delta Brings First Business Class Suite to South Africa   

Delta’s award-winning Delta One® Suite is coming to Africa for the first time later this year with the airline’s upgraded Boeing 777 set to take off from Johannesburg on October 20, 2019. 

The re-fitted Boeing 777 brings more luxury, comfort and choice to South African skies and gives customers the ability to create the travel experience they want. The aircraft features: 

  • All four branded seat products offered by Delta – including the Delta One suite, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+® and Main Cabin – giving customers the ability to choose a travel experience that best suits their needs. 

  • Delta One Suites feature a full-height sliding door at every suite, sliding privacy dividers between center suites, 180-degree flat-bed seats, customizable ambient lighting, and a high-resolution in-flight entertainment screen. 

  • Delta Premium Select, the airline’s new premium economy cabin, offering wider seats with more legroom and recline, an elevated onboard service and plenty of perks. 

  • Main Cabin seats in a nine-abreast configuration versus the industry standard of 10. At 47 cm wide these are the widest Main Cabin seats of Delta's international fleet.  

  • Seat-back entertainment screens at every seat offering 1000+ hours of Delta Studio®, on-demand entertainment. 

  • State-of-the-art interior with ambient lighting, on-demand Wi-Fi connectivity, free mobile messaging and power outlets available at every seat.
