Special Entry Requirements for Travelers Arriving into Korea
The Korea government will implement a special entry requirement for all travelers arriving into Korea, effective March 19, 2020 (Korea local time).
The new entry requirements are as follows:
- All travelers arriving into Korea are required to complete a Health Declaration Form and Travel Record Declaration Form. These forms will be provided onboard by airline staff prior to arrival into ICN.
- ICN Quarantine Officers will check the temperature of each traveler and collect the Health Declaration and Travel Record Declaration forms. Travelers displaying symptoms will be isolated and a COVID-19 virus test will be conducted, if deemed necessary.
- ICN Quarantine Officers will confirm the traveler’s address and contact information in Korea and check if the traveler installed the Self Diagnosis Mobile App in his/her mobile phone. Travelers can access the app via a QR code on the Travel Record Declaration Form.
This requirement is only applicable to travelers who are entering Korea. It is not applicable to passengers transiting through.
