FlyReady and Ready to Fly: Digital tools to make travel easier

Trans-Atlantic partners Delta Air Lines, Air France, KLM, and Virgin Atlantic are reducing travel stress by helping customers ensure they have the correct documentation for their trips.

Air France and KLM’s “Ready to Fly” and Delta and Virgin Atlantic’s “FlyReady” are innovative digital solutions that sync to each customer’s reservation and are being rolled out across more international routes. Available through each airline’s respective apps and websites, these tools give customers the most up-to-date information about health credential documents required for their destination, which can be easily uploaded before they even arrive at the airport.

These digital tools are optional but using them can save customers valuable time. Once checked in – online or at the airport – a Ready to Fly or FlyReady indicator on a customer’s boarding pass means airline agents won’t need to check their health credentials again for the entire journey – including any connecting flights. Other perks include dedicated lanes for customers using FlyReady.

It’s just one of the many ways our airlines are working hard to make getting back to travel as hassle-free for your customers as possible. For an even smoother journey, we recommend customers download their airline’s app before they fly to access digital boarding passes, manage seat changes, baggage tracking and more along the way.
