State-of-the-art fleet
With 6 daily flights every day, Delta operates some of its newest aircraft on routes between China and the United States, offering an unrivalled level of comfort and choice.
Shanghai-Seattle recently became the launch route for Delta’s brand-new A330-900neo. The aircraft is the first new plane to feature all four Delta seat experiences - Delta One Suites, Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+® and Main Cabin.
Meanwhile, after a multi-million dollar investment, Delta’s refurbished Boeing 777 will operate from Shanghai to Atlanta, offering all four cabins and a refreshed look throughout.
Delta’s new A350 operate on other China routes, ensuring that your customers enjoy a high level of onboard comfort, whenever they fly.
Upgrades for all
Delta is proud to offer a variety of signature products and experiences to suit your customers whatever their budget and travel style. The airline is upgrading their experience, wherever they sit on the aircraft.
In Delta One, TUMI amenity kits now feature travel essentials by luxury fragrance brand, LE LABO. Improved amenity kits in Delta Premium Select, Delta Comfort+® and Main Cabin give long-haul customers in all cabins something new to look forward to.
Delta’s reinvented Main Cabin experience is set to take off in November and will include plenty of ‘wow’ moments to make customers’ trips memorable. Welcome cocktails, and a bistro-style dining experience with larger entrees, are just some of the treats in store.
Premium hub experience
Delta operations at Shanghai’s Pudong International Airport are moving from Terminal 1 to the new Satellite Terminal (S1) late September. The relocation will ensure a more seamless travel experience for customers, significantly improving connections from Delta flights onto China Eastern and Shanghai Airlines services. Customers will also enjoy enhanced shopping, dining and entertainment options inside the S1 terminal building.
Customers flying from Beijing will enjoy another high-tech airport experience late 2020, when Delta moves its Detroit and Seattle flights from the city’s Capital Airport to the brand-new Daixing Airport. The move will increase connectivity with China Eastern services, as well as offering convenient transport links to downtown Beijing and beyond.

When it comes to reliability – getting customers to their destinations on time - Delta leads other U.S. airlines on flights from China and around the world.
From China, Delta was the number one U.S. airline for on-time arrivals last year and also had the fewest cancellations of other U.S. carriers, with 99.85% of services from China operating as scheduled.
Last year Delta achieved a record 251 days without canceling any mainline flights. Our record performance has been recognized with a number of prestigious awards from FlightGlobal, including “Most On-time International Mainline Airline.”
