As we look forward to the Lunar New Year celebrations, we would like to share our excitement about the opportunities that lie ahead. Here's a glimpse of what your customers can expect when they connect with Delta.

Centennial Year

In 2025 we are thrilled to celebrate a monumental milestone – Delta's 100-year anniversary commemorating a century of groundbreaking aviation milestones and the airline’s commitment to innovation, all powered by people. We extend our gratitude for being an integral part of Delta's remarkable 100-year journey.

New Routes in China

This year we will also see the return of Shanghai (PVG) to Los Angeles (LAX) service* starting in June, unlocking more access to the Americas.With the return of Shanghai-Los Angeles service, Delta will operate 17 weekly flights between China and the U.S., including existing routes from Detroit and Seattle.

Furthermore, thanks to our “TransChina” program in partnership with China Eastern, customers no longer need to collect and re-check their baggage at PVG airport for incoming and outgoing flights and can simply clear immigration and board their onward flight, which greatly improves the transfer experience at PVG on Delta and China Eastern flights.

New Routes in Korea 

This year Delta is boosting its global footprint with the launch of its first-ever nonstop service from Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) to Seoul-Incheon International Airport (ICN) on June 12, 2025. As Delta’s fifth direct U.S. route to Seoul, the new SLC-ICN flight joins Atlanta, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, and Seattle in connecting U.S. travelers to Asia.

Together, Delta and Korean Air have earned the trust of both Asian and American customers connecting 290 destinations in the Americas and 80 destinations in Asia through the Incheon hub. Delta and Korean Air have aligned products and services to ensure a seamless, consistent and industry-leading customer experience.
