What’s in store for customers in Delta’s 100th year

Delta is wrapping up another record year. From launching new routes across the Atlantic to rolling-out free Wi-Fi on a growing number of international flights – we believe no-one better connects the world than Delta. Here are some of our 2024 highlights:

Exclusive Lounges

Customers are enjoying a new premium lounge experience in the brand-new Delta One Lounges at our Boston, New York-JFK, Los Angeles hubs. Exclusively for Delta One passengers, the new lounges feature luxurious design elements that reflect each city’s unique characteristics and offer an elevated pre-flight experience including fine dining and spa-like wellness treatments.

Free Wi-Fi

Gate-to-gate Wi-Fi connectivity allows SkyMiles members to connect during travel and spend their time in a way that suits them – just like they would at home - for free. Already installed across Delta’s domestic route network, free Delta Sync Wi-Fi is already available on flights from the UK, France and Germany and will be fully rolled out across all our international flights.

New look

Delta’s next-generation A330-900neo aircraft made its debut in Accra, Ghana, bringing the luxurious Delta One Suite to the market for the first time. Meanwhile, Delta has thoughtfully redesigned every aspect of its cabin interior and will be updating the entire fleet with a fresh, clean and elegant new look over the coming months, starting with Boeing 757 aircraft. The nose-to-tail transformation of our cabin interior is based on extensive feedback and research to create a cabin experience that reflects our customers’ changing expectations.

Special touches

High altitude meets haute couture in the Delta One cabin. This year, Delta partnered with luxury Italian fashion house, Missoni, to create new amenity kits featuring the brand’s signature textured zigzag pattern, as well as customised elements for the new Delta One Lounges.

Doing good

Giving back is in Delta’s DNA, with 1 percent of net profits given each year to charitable causes. Delta supports young people through its partnership with Junior Achievement in Europe and Africa. As part of our DEI commitment, Delta sponsored Pride events in Brighton and Amsterdam. We also continued our fight against breast cancer, through our ongoing work with Breast Care International in Ghana.

Award winning

Delta scooped several top awards in 2024, including Business Traveller’s Best North American Airline and two Skytrax World Airline accolades - Best Airline in North America and Best Airline Staff.  Delta took the ‘Achievement in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion’ at the Business Travel News Europe Awards, for its DEI commitment to employees, customers, veterans and diverse suppliers. We were also named ‘Best Airline for Business Travellers’ at the European Mission Awards, and Best Airline to North & South America at the Zakenreis Awards in the Netherlands.

As we fly into our 100th anniversary year, it has been a pleasure to take you and your customers on our journey. Thank you for the support you have shown our airline over the past 12 months.

We wish you all the very best for a happy, healthy and successful New Year.
