Delta Upgrades Boston Flights

Customers flying from London Heathrow to Boston’s Logan International Airport will enjoy an enhanced experience in every cabin when Delta’s A330-200 takes over the route, effective March 31 2019.

The aircraft features larger seats in every cabin, including 180-degree, flat-bed seats in Delta One that offer greater privacy thanks to their herringbone configuration.

Meanwhile, there’s a seat-back screen for every passenger offering Delta Studio’s® wide selection of movies, TV shows, music and games. Customers can even stream content directly to a laptop, tablet or smartphone with no Wi-Fi charge and if they need power, there’s a supply at every seat.

Delta also operates the A330-200 on routes from London Heathrow to Atlanta, New York-JFK and select services to Detroit.

MORE SERVICE TO ‘BEAN TOWN’

Meanwhile, partners Delta and Virgin Atlantic are boosting services between the U.K. and Boston next summer.

The airlines will offer services from three U.K. cities, including three daily flights from London Heathrow, a daily flight from Manchester and a new nonstop from Edinburgh.

The new Delta-operated service between Edinburgh and Boston will start May 24, 2019, complementing existing service to New York-JFK. Meanwhile, Virgin Atlantic is boosting the airlines’ current one apiece schedule from Heathrow to Boston by adding a third daily service.
