Any un-flown DL-marketed/DL-operated segments ticketed on DL006 that were scheduled during these impacted travel date(s) are eligible for a refund upon request, if the customer elects to cancel their reservation. For these customers, Delta is allowing refunds for wholly unused tickets or the unflown portion of partially used tickets.

Wholly Unused Tickets

  • Travel agents may process a refund for wholly unused tickets in the GDS. Please ensure that all provisions of the refund exception are met; no waiver code or OSI message is needed.

Partially Used Tickets or Wholly Unused Tickets Reissued by Delta

  • Travel agents may request refund via the Travel Agent Travel Exception Policy Online Refund form or contact GSS for assistance

In addition, if a customer’s flight is cancelled by Delta due to this event, and no other alternate flights are acceptable, travel agents may refund totally unused non-refundable ticket(s) through normal ARC/BSP processing.

Utilize the Travel Agent Travel Exception Policy Online Refund  form to submit a qualifying refund request if:

  • A ticket has already been reissued by Delta or the ticket is partially used; or
  • Customer contacts Travel Agent directly to initiate the refund
