New Travel Requirements for Cuba

Updated 24 June 2025

Effective July 1, 2025, all non-Cuban nationals traveling to Cuba must obtain an electronic travel authorization (ETA), and all passengers (including Cuban nationals) must complete the D'Viajeros form.

Application Process

  • ETA Application: Travelers can apply online at eVisa-Cuba, review application requirements, pay fee, and check their application status.

  • In addition to the ETA and D’Viajeros forms, customers must qualify for one of OFAC’s 12 permitted reasons for travel to Cuba from the U.S., as outlined here

  • Early Preparation: Please note that ETAs may take up to 72 hours to process, and both forms are required for entry. Travelers are advised to start the application process well in advance of their departure.
