Delta's flight schedule remains subject to change due to the evolving nature of COVID-19, customer demand and government travel regulations.
"The return of Delta's service between Nagoya and Detroit reconnects these two automotive cities," said Victor Osumi, Delta's Managing Director of Japan. "The nonstop Nagoya - Detroit route has been known as the 'Motor Town Express' for more than 20 years with Nagoya airport authority's support. Delta continues to provide layers of protection that ensure our customers a safer, cleaner and more comfortable travel experience."
Delta has added more than 100 layers of protection through its Delta CareStandard, such as regularly sanitizing high-touch surfaces and replacing onboard industrial-grade HEPA filters twice as often as recommended. To give customers extra peace of mind when flying, Delta also extended middle seat blocking through April 30, 2021 – the only U.S. airline to do so.
Even as Delta has doubled down on its investment in safety and cleanliness, it also continues to invest in offering a superior customer experience and award-winning hospitality, including refreshing more than 300 new in-flight entertainment options and recently announced plans to bring high-speed Wi-Fi onboard this year.
