What Does It Take To Succeed?

Anthem CTM

We ask ourselves this question often as we strive to be your first choice for an airline partner. We’ve achieved many high points together through our partnership. Earlier this year, many of you responded to our survey on success and what it means to you. So let’s take a moment to reflect on our mutual success and what we’ve learned together:

Success starts with getting the big picture right.
One of our corporate partners, Carole Derksen of Manitoba Hydro International Ltd., says, “Keeping an eye on the end goal will make it easier to adjust a path, if necessary.” While we’re always striving to do more, we never forget our first job is getting your travelers where they need to be, on time and with all their bags. Year after year, we’re proud to have the best operations in the industry because we know how much you and your travelers rely on us to get the basics right.

Success depends on relationships.
People are the heart of any relationship — business, personal, you name it. Cheryl Chadwick of RGA Reinsurance Company credits listening, empathy and understanding different perspectives to success. We wholeheartedly agree. From front line and behind-the-scenes people to your Sales Account Executive, we always remember our business isn’t just about moving people from Point A to B. It’s about people.

Success means thinking differently about needs.
Cecile Mutch of Kellogg Company says a successful partnership means being clear about your needs (but reasonable with your requests). Over the years, we’ve listened to the insights you’ve generously given to us. Your insights have fueled our innovations, which have led to many of the new products and experiences you and your travelers enjoy.

Success is about helping others be their best.
Success isn’t solely about doing our job well. It’s about setting you and your travelers up for success, too. Whether it’s figuring out ways for your travelers to have a more productive and frictionless flight or developing a new tool to help you work more accurately and efficiently, our success drives yours. Debbie Filarakos of Euro Lloyd Travel Group says the best advice she’s ever been given on success is, “Work hard. Always listen. And never underestimate people.” Because when we’re all working toward your success, there’s nothing we can’t accomplish.

You are a big part of our success, and you’re the reason we’re even in business at all. We never stop working to be our best so you and your travelers can be the best at what you do. Reach out to your Delta Sales Account Executive for more ways we can support your success.
