Passport…wallet…Fly Delta app. Delta customers flying from Paris-CDG will find a travel tool with all they need for a smoother trip when they download the Fly Delta app. Packed with handy features to make managing travel on the go hassle-free, particularly if things don’t go as planned, the app has been further upgraded to enhance customers’ airport journey. 

Free to download and available for iOS and Android, the Fly Delta app makes each step of the journey even easier than before, especially when combined with a SkyMiles account. Customers can sign up to SkyMiles for free and use their account to log into the app where features include:  

Before departure

• Customers can effortlessly check in, select a seat, and download their boarding pass.  
• Delta One customers can pre-select their preferred entrée up from seven days to 24 hours before they fly.  
• By using the improved, built-in passport scanning tool to upload a photo of their passport and other travel documents into Delta FlyReady up to 24 hours in advance, customers can help speed up their airport experience.  

Day of travel  

• The Today tab offers a one-stop, real-time view including boarding pass, gate information, flight status and airport wayfinding – also handy for customers connecting via CDG.
• Thanks to RFID bag tags, customers can track their bag throughout the trip – right down to which carousel to collect it from on arrival.  
• Handy notifications provide updates on changes such as: departure or arrival times, gate changes, boarding group notifications, bag updates and more. 

New innovations  

• Account Page – a snapshot of customers’ SkyMiles account including benefits, miles balance and progress toward Medallion Status. 
• Sky Club Occupancy Indicator* - a real-time view of which Delta Sky Clubs are experiencing high customer volumes. 
• Improved Wayfinding – interactive airport maps help customers locate the nearest Starbucks or Delta Sky Club with GPS walking directions for how to get there.
