Delta's Stuttgart - Atlanta Service Affected by STR Runway Constructions in Spring 2020
Delta temporarily discontinues service from Stuttgart between April 23rd and June 17th, 2020 due to runway constructions.
Stuttgart airport has advised all its customers that they must renovate parts of the runway next spring. As a result, the remaining runway length is insufficient for long haul aircraft take offs and landings, such as Delta's operated Boeing 767.
During the construction period, Delta will not operate its nonstop service to Atlanta, but will continue to serve Stuttgart through partners Air France and KLM via Amsterdam and Paris-CDG to the U.S.
Starting June 18th, 2020, Delta will return with its daily nonstop service to Atlanta.
