U.S. travel directive expands to U.K. and Ireland    Updated 15 March 2020

The U.S. government has announced a new directive  for travel from the U.K. and Ireland, effective midnight on Monday, March 16.

Under the directive, foreign nationals with 14-day prior travel within the United Kingdom, excluding overseas territories outside of Europe, or the Republic of Ireland will not be eligible to enter the United States.

U.S. citizens and Legal Permanent Residents and certain of their family members (and other limited exceptions) will be allowed to enter the U.S. through one of 13 CDC-approved airports.

These orders apply to all flights departing for the United States after 11:59 p.m. ET on March 16, 2020. It does not apply to flights that depart prior to 11:59 p.m. ET on March 16.

Delta is aware of reports that the U.S. travel directive has expanded to include the U.K. Schedule adjustments will be made shortly. We will update this page as soon as possible.
