Delta: ‘Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion’ for 4th Consecutive Year

Thanks to a steadfast commitment to advancing disability inclusion in every area of the business, Delta has once again been named a “Best Place to Work for Disability Inclusion.”

This is the fourth year in a row that Delta has received the honor.

Out of approximately 180 companies who were scored on a scale of 0 to 100, Delta received a top score of 100 percent on the 2019 Disability Equality Index (DEI)

award

This year’s DEI measured companies on:

  • Inclusion criteria surrounding culture and leadership
  • Enterprise-wide access
  • Employment practices
  • Community engagement
  • Supplier diversity

The 2019 DEI represents a work force of more than 8.6 million, with nearly 4 percent of employees identifying as having a disability.

Delta’s Business Resource Group, ABLE, is committed to making Delta the best place to work for employees with disabilities. ABLE works to promote inclusion, respect for differences, equal opportunity, and diversity in the workplace.
