Applies to tickets issued on or before:

  • December 3, 2022

Impacted travel dates:

  • December 3-5, 2022

For travel to/from/through the following cities:

  • All flights from or to a French Airport

Event waiver codes*

  • Cabin to Cabin Waiver Code: G2F2R
  • Change Fee/Basic Economy Cancellation Charge Waiver Code: N5Z6L
    Used to waive change fee or Basic Economy cancellation charge, if applicable

 

New travel originates on or before:

  • December 11, 2022

New ticket must be rebooked and reissued on or before:

  • December 11, 2022

Applies to travel on:

  • Delta Mainline
  • Delta Connection
  • DL marketed/ AFKL operated
  • AFKL marketed/ DL operated

Applicable ticket stock:

  • DL006

PNR documentation and waiver placement for all GDSs:

  • PNR must be documented with the following OSI message:
    OSI DL CHANGES PER FRENCH RAIL INDUSTRIAL ACTION 3DEC22

Waiver code placement:

  • Waiver code should be placed in the ticket designator field if no other ticket designator is being used
  • If another ticket designator is being used, place the waiver code in the tour code box
  • If the tour code box is already in use, place the waiver code in the first position of the endorsement box

Refunds and PNR Documentation*

If a customer’s flight is cancelled by Delta due to this event, and no other alternate flights are acceptable, travel agents may refund totally unused non-refundable ticket(s) through normal ARC/BSP processing.

PNR must be documented with the following OSI: DL REFUNDED PER FRENCH RAIL INDUSTRIAL ACTION 3DEC22
Note:
 the OSI message must be added before the itinerary is canceled.

Utilize the Travel Agent Travel Exception Policy Online Refund  form to submit a qualifying refund request if:

  • A ticket has already been reissued by Delta or the ticket is partially used; or
  • Customer contacts Travel Agent directly to initiate the refund
