Delta is gearing up for its largest-ever trans-Atlantic summer schedule with more than 650 weekly flights on 77 routes from 32 destinations on offer across Europe and Africa. New routes include nonstop flights from Rome to Detroit, Edinburgh to Atlanta and London Heathrow and Paris-CDG to Los Angeles, to name a few.

And as well as recently launching a new nonstop route from Cape Town to Atlanta, thanks to its partnerships with Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic, Delta offers convenient connections via Paris-CDG, Amsterdam and London Heathrow to destinations across the United States.

Here are some things to note when selling travel on Delta.

Health credentials

International passengers traveling to the United States are no longer required to show proof of vaccination against COVID.

ESTA required

International travelers require an ESTA or other applicable visa to enter the United States, even if they are only transiting to another country. Customers can check their ESTA eligibility and apply online easily via the U.S. Customs and Border Protection website.

Leave enough time

Peak season travel means busier airports. Can check-in online for their Delta flights and simply drop their bags at the airport. Delta recommends arriving at the airport 3 hours in advance of an international flight.

Smoother connections via Schiphol

Delta operates 19 daily flights from Schiphol, which has recruited new security officers and invested in additional measures to support smooth customer transit. Delta and partner KLM have been working with Schiphol to further improve the customer experience, where security wait times are now generally less than 10 minutes. Schiphol also serves as an excellent gateway from the rest of Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

More control

Delta’s popular Fly Delta app is your customers’ everyday travel companion, simplifying their journey by giving them the flexibility to manage their travel plans with ease. The app’s Today tab offers a one-stop, real-time view of their journey, including mobile boarding pass, flight status, gate information and airport wayfinding. Customers can also check in, select their seat and directly track their bags.
