Pre-Select Extended to First Class

Delta to Give More Customers the Option to Pick Meals Before They Fly

Delta customers traveling in the First Class cabin now have the option to choose their meal days in advance through the airline's popular pre-select meal program. The move follows rave reviews from customers on Delta One routes where pre-select was launched last year.

Pre-select now includes mainline First Class flights* where meals are offered. This includes domestic First Class routes and select flights between the U.S. and Canada, the Caribbean and Latin America. The total of daily flights eligible for pre-select is now more than 1,000 – up from 200.

Here’s how it works:

  • Customer receives an email from Delta three days before they fly
  • Customer makes their choice from Delta’s latest seasonal menu
  • The customer’s email address must be in their PNR, with a separate email address for each person traveling. This also applies for travel on Delta-operated flights under a partner airline’s code.

Special meals that comply with dietary and religious requirements are not part of the pre-select program and must be requested at least 24 hours before travel.

*Pre-select is not available on Delta Connection flights.
