
Delta Introduces New Branded Fare Boarding Order
Delta is bringing simplicity to the boarding experience for its global customers. Boarding zones for Delta flights worldwide have been renamed to reflect the branded fare purchased, while still prioritizing customer loyalty.
Meanwhile, new color accents distinguish each of Delta’s fare products and Sky Priority on screens and signage at the gate.
For most customers, their place in the boarding order hasn’t changed – the new name simply makes it easier to recognize.
Here’s how it works:

ON BOARDING PASSES
Customers now have the branded fare purchased, or Sky Priority, on their mobile or printed boarding pass – this indicates their boarding group.

AT THE GATE
With more boarding groups, fewer customers are encouraged to line up in the gate area at once, easing crowding during the boarding process.
Customers simply wait for the branded fare purchased or Sky Priority to be called or appear on the gate screens when it’s time to board.
SkyMiles Medallion Members* and eligible Delta SkyMiles American Express Credit Card Members continue to receive priority boarding.

ON THE FLY DELTA APP AND DELTA.COM
The new colors associated with each branded fare will be rolled out to all customers on delta.com and the Fly Delta app in 2019.
