SkyMiles Login and Flight Check-In Unavailable During Scheduled Maintenance   

As part of a planned maintenance from 11:00pm ET on Saturday, February 23rd through Sunday, February 24th at 4:00am ET, SkyMiles Members will not be able to log in to delta.com or the Fly Delta app, redeem miles, visit My Trips or check in for a flight through their SkyMiles account, for about five hours. Also, customers will not be able to purchase trip extras during this scheduled maintenance timeframe.

Rest assured, flights themselves will not be impacted in any way, miles will still be earned according to earning rules and upgrades will still be processed for flights during the maintenance timeframe as they normally are.

Because customers will not be able to check in for a flight by logging into your SkyMiles account during the maintenance window, it is recommended they check in for flights prior to 11:00pm ET on Saturday, February 23rd. As a reminder, customers can check in for a flight 24 hours prior to departure and automatic check-in will be available 24 hours ahead of the scheduled departure through the Fly Delta app push notification or email alert, until the scheduled maintenance begins.

If customers need to check-in for a flight during the scheduled maintenance, they can use one of the below options:

  • On the Fly Delta app: Select “Continue as a Guest” and then select the “My Trips” tab at the bottom left of your screen and enter one of the below to retrieve trip information and complete check-in:
    • 6-digit confirmation number
    • Credit/debit card number used to purchase the ticket
    • Ticket number
  • On delta.com: Proceed to the check-in page and enter one of the below to retrieve trip information and complete check-in:
    • 6-digit confirmation number
    • Credit/debit card number used to purchase the ticket
    • Ticket number
  • At the airport: Check-in at a Delta kiosk with one of the below to complete check-in:
    • Insert the credit/debit card number used to purchase the ticket
    • Scan your passport, boarding document or boarding pass saved in your Apple wallet
    • Type your 6-digit confirmation number or eTicket number

 

All systems are expected to be back up and running by 4:00am Sunday, February 24th.
