Delta Expands Basic Economy Between the Netherlands and Mexico
Following the recent expansion of Basic Economy between Mexico and Europe (for EU and GB Point of Sale only), Basic Economy availability is expanding to Netherlands Point of Sale as well, effective April 9, 2019. The product aligns with the Basic Economy product offered in other trans-Atlantic markets, with a 60 USD/50 EUR first checked bag fee – Main Cabin passengers will not be assessed a first checked bag fee.
Expanding Basic Economy into additional markets is another way Delta is providing customers more choice and control in their travel. The product is designed for price-conscious customers who want Delta’s high-quality onboard experience, but need less flexibility.
