Electronic Travel Authorization requirements for travel to Israel

Delta will restart daily nonstop service from Tel Aviv (TLV) to New York-JFK on 2 April.

Effective 1 January 2025, Israel has decreed that passport holders from visa exempt nations, including the United States, will be required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) to enter the country.

Here’s what you and your travelers need to know:

  • Plan ahead: To account for processing times, the Immigration Authority recommends the travel authorization be submitted at least 72 hours prior to departure.
  • How to apply: Visit the official Israel ETA site to start your application process.
  • Stay informed: Review the latest information on Delta’s Travel Planning Center.
