Air France and KLM Standard Seat Selection
Effective June 16, 2026, Air France and KLM are expanding Advance Seat Reservation (ASR) on long-haul flights. Advance Seat Reservation was first introduced in 2023 for long-haul Business Class, except on routes to/from the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Tahiti.
For travel on or after June 25, 2026, customers booked in Business, Premium, and Premium Comfort on routes from an IATA-defined European Point of Commencement to the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Tahiti (PPT) may reserve seats in advance for a fee. This applies only to Light and Standard fare tickets.
