
Delta Wins Beat Readers' Choice Award for the 6th Year
Delta has been awarded the Most Admired Supplier and Most Admired Airline by the readers of The Beatat their 10th Annual Beat Readers' Choice Awards for the sixth year in a row.
The Awards are based on a poll conducted in the summer that asked readers of The Beat to choose the company in each of the six supplier segments - Airline, Hotel, Car Rental, Travel Management Company, Travel Technology Company, Payment System – that they "most admire for its policies, management style and service for business clients" plus for the Supplier of the Year.
Collecting the award on behalf of Delta, Kristen Shovlin, Delta's Vice President - Sales Operations and Development, thanked the readers of The Beat; "It is an honor to collect this award on behalf of the entire Delta team, who work tirelessly every day to ensure that the customer and our partners are the center of everything they do."
The Beat has over 10,000 subscribers consisting of senior-level travel executives in travel management companies, airlines, hotels, technology companies, expense and payment companies as well as corporate travel buyers, consultants, and industry analysts.
The Beat is part of the Business Travel News (BTN) Group that oversees voting on the annual BTN Airline Satisfaction Survey, which is currently underway. BTN voters, who manage tens of billions of dollars in annual, corporate travel spend, select the top U.S. carrier in the survey based on their perceptions of airline performance in negotiating and maintaining preferred programs, delivering service and providing value. Delta has finished first for a record six consecutive years in BTN voting.
