Pick your plate! Delta introduces pre-select meals on all flights to Spain

Delta One customers flying on all routes from the United States to Spain can now choose their meal in advance. The exciting development will ensure their first meal choice is available on board, giving them peace of mind when they fly.

The move comes following strong customer feedback about pre-select meals on test routes from Atlanta and New York-JFK to Europe, and is part of Delta’s focus on personalizing the onboard experience. Delta plans to introduce pre-select on flights to the U.S. later in the year.

How it works

Eligible customers receive an email communication three days prior to their flight asking them to choose an option from Delta's latest seasonal, regionally-influenced menu. Pre-select is available on Delta’s flights from the U.S. to Madrid, Barcelona and Malaga.

What’s on the menu?

On flights from Atlanta, Delta One customers enjoy chef-curated meals created by Linton Hopkins. The Atlanta-based chef’s Southern cuisine harnesses seasonal ingredients and summer-inspired flavours.

Meanwhile, select chefs from Danny Meyer’s Union Square Hospitality Group are the culinary creatives behind Delta One menus from New York-JFK.

All Delta One meals are served with a selection of wines that have been carefully hand-picked by Master Sommelier, Andrea Robinson.
