Nonstop to New York: New Service From Mumbai Takes Off December 24   

Delta will begin flying nonstop from Mumbai to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport from December 24, 2019. The flight will be the only nonstop between India and the United States operated by a U.S. airline. 

The new route will operate using Delta’s newly-renovated Boeing 777-200LR aircraft, featuring the Delta One® Suite – an all-suite business class cabin – a premium economy offering, Delta Premium Select, as well as Delta Comfort+® and Main Cabin options.

Onboard, customers can enjoy a range of services, including:

  • Free mobile messaging via WhatsApp, iMessage and Facebook Messenger thanks to on-board Wi-Fi. 

  • On-demand Delta Studio® entertainment for every customer, with movies from Bollywood and around the world available on seatback screens.

  • Amenity kits in premium cabins, plus pillows and blankets for Main Cabin customers

  • Regional cuisine, with the option to pre-select preferred meal choices in Delta One. 

Connecting through New York’s JFK, customers have access to more than 50 onward destinations throughout North America, Latin America and the Caribbean. 

Today, customers can access New York and the rest of Delta’s U.S. network from Mumbai via its European hubs at Amsterdam, London Heathrow and Paris Charles de Gaulle through Delta’s partnerships with Air France, KLM and Virgin Atlantic.
