Delta’s New Main Cabin Experience
FIRST-OF-ITS-KIND SERVICE FOR MAIN CABIN CUSTOMERS ON INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS
Customers can expect to be impressed on board Delta’s international routes1 starting this November when the airline debuts its reinvented Main Cabin experience. “Welcome Aboard” Bellini cocktails, a refreshing hot towel service and premium mix-and-match options for appetizers and entrees are just some of the ways Delta is differentiating its international Main Cabin service.
WHAT CUSTOMERS CAN EXPECT IN DELTA’S NEW INTERNATIONAL MAIN CABIN
Ready to Fly
Before embarking, customers will be welcomed by their purser, or lead flight attendant, in the gate house, followed by a personal greeting at the boarding door.
Shortly after takeoff, customers will be greeted with refreshing, free “Welcome Aboard” cocktails featuring Bellinis to start — made with sparkling wine and infused peach puree.
Customers can look forward to a refreshing hot towel service to kick of the flight.
Dinner is Served
A new “bistro-style” meal service offers upgraded appetizers and larger entrées to mix and match - much like traditional restaurant dining.
Customers can select from a refreshed menu and enjoy their meal on custom-designed dinnerware with improved cutlery – complete with a placemat.
Larger entrées feature new recipes inspired by beloved Delta One® dishes.
Dessert will be served separately on most flights, along with a choice of complimentary wines, beers, soft drinks and Starbucks® coffee.
Kick Back and Relax
There’s free mobile messaging, or customers can catch
up on work emails and check social media with Wi-Fi available2 on all transatlantic flights.
Or they can choose from hundreds of free movies, TV music and more from Delta Studio®3, all on-demand
on high-resolution seat-back screens.
Small touches like a sleep kit with an eye mask and ear plugs and a blanket, help customers settle in for some shut-eye.

AN EXPERIENCE DESIGNED BY FLIGHT ATTENDANTS, ENDORSED BY CUSTOMERS
Delta’s new Main Cabin experience is based on extensive testing on more than 700 flights and rigorous service reviews of nearly 14,000 hours of flight time. Information from over 1,800 customer surveys, crew feedback and feedback from a design team of 24 flight attendants tweaked the innovative service to perfection for international flights.
Creating Magical Moments In-Flight
Over the past several months, Delta has provided specialized training to its team of more than 3,000 Pursers, the lead flight attendants on international flights. Elevating the Purser role to include pre-flight introductions in the gate house and personal greetings at the boarding door, makes important connections between crew and customers. This leads to memorable moments and a delightful experience all around.
