Delta Codeshare and Policy Update for GOL
As we work with LATAM to build the leading airline partnership in North and South America, we are winding down our partnership with GOL (G3) and we are updating our codeshare and SkyMiles policies with GOL. Please see details regarding these changes below.
Codeshare Update
Beginning March 28, 2020, Delta will no longer display codeshare connections on GOL for flights operating on or after July 1, 2020. Customers with impacted itineraries for flights on or after July 1st will be contacted and offered alternative travel arrangements, including interline travel on GOL.
Customers with travel plans before July 1st will not be impacted.
SkyMiles Policy Update
Beginning April 1, 2020, SkyMiles mileage earn and redemption for travel on GOL flights will be discontinued. All GOL travel ticketed on or before March 31, 2020 will continue to be eligible for SkyMiles accrual benefits. Any SkyMiles award travel on GOL that is ticketed on or before March 31, 2020, will be honored for 12 months after ticket issuance. Reciprocal elite and airport lounge benefits with GOL will be discontinued for flights departing on/after May 1, 2020.
