Updated Requirements for Travel to Brazil Updated March 11, 2025

Brazil is reinstating visa requirements for citizens of the United States, Australia and Canada. As of April 10, 2025, all U.S. citizens will need a tourist or business visa to enter Brazil.

Here’s what you and your travelers need to know:

Plan ahead: To account for processing times, we recommend applying for the eVisa as far in advance as possible, ideally two months in advance.
