The U.K. government recently announced the elimination of the Air Passenger Duty (APD) tax for children under the age of 12, traveling in Economy Class departing the U.K. on or after May, 1 2015. Consequently, Delta discontinued collecting the APD tax on Economy Class tickets for children under the age of 12, departing the U.K. on or after May 1, 2015. Customers who have already paid the APD Tax for children under the age of 12, booked to depart the U.K. in Economy Class on or after May 1, 2015 are eligible for a refund. Travel agencies are encouraged to proactively refund the APD tax on eligible 006 tickets.

Starting March 29, 2015, Delta-operated flights from London Heathrow to Atlanta and Seattle will operate from Terminal 4 (rather than Terminal 3), joining Delta flights to Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Philadelphia.
