Changes to Delta Comfort® Fares from the U.S. to Select Transatlantic Markets
Delta recently made changes to Delta Comfort+® fare options for Europe, the United Kingdom and select Africa and Middle East markets for flights that originate in the U.S.
Agents and customers have reported that fares in markets that involve a connection on Air France-KLM beyond Paris (CDG) or Amsterdam (AMS) were not functioning as intended. Delta has temporarily suspended offering Delta Comfort+ fares in these markets while we work with our partners to find a solution. Our intent is to reintroduce these fares once a solution is implemented.
Customers will continue to be able to purchase Delta Comfort+ as a fare to destinations which are served by Delta-operated flights. However, Delta is not able to offer Delta Comfort+ as a fare on itineraries that connect beyond AMS or CDG on one of our partner airlines at this time.
Note that customers are also not able to obtain Delta Comfort+ as an ancillary purchase on itineraries which include AF/KL segments. Delta is currently working on a solution to re-introduce ancillary purchase options in these markets.
To provide customers with the opportunity to enjoy Delta Comfort+ on itineraries which include AF/KL operated flights, Delta has developed a temporary solution to enable the purchase of Delta Comfort+ seating. Instructions for this Agency self-service option are available on the Delta Comfort+ Product Page.
