Quiet, Comfortable & Fuel-efficient: Delta continues expansion of Airbus A220 fleet to better support your travelers

Delta is growing the airline's state-of-the-art fleet to include more sustainable aircraft that also provide a best-in-class experience for your travelers by adding 12 new A220-300 aircraft.

This expansion will help power Delta's increasingly streamlined fleet while also providing your travelers with the elevated in-flight experience they’ve come to expect from Delta.

The quiet and comfortable 130-seat A220-300 aircraft features 12 First Class, 30 Comfort+ and 88 Main Cabin seats. Delta’s A220 narrowbody offers  the in-flight experience of a widebody aircraft and will serve your travelers domestically, including to and from our coastal hubs.

Delta Air Lines currently has 14 A220-300s in service, with 60 more on order, including the 12 options recently exercised.

In addition to the A220-300s in service, Delta currently operates a fleet of 45 109-seat A220-100 aircraft. Delta took delivery of its first Airbus A220 in October 2018 and was the first U.S. carrier to operate the aircraft type.
